Kieran Hebden is my boy.

Why is that? Well, he makes music under the name Four Tet and it’s really, really good.

I heard Four Tet a few years ago and it wasn’t until tonight when I fully dived back in and I’m very glad I did. The music is grabbing me just as hard as El Ten Eleven did the first time I heard them. It’s a different sort of grabbing, though, as it’s a different sort of music.

Instrumental, yes, but instead of solid beats that your mind starts to tap along to, it just flows and makes you drift from side to side.
